Jawel! Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios en Sony Pictures Entertainment hebben bekend gemaakt dat de 24e Bond-film, SPECTRE, geselecteerd is voor CTBF’s Royal Film Performance 2015.
De wereldpremière van de gevaarlijke dandy zal worden bijgewoond door Koninklijke Hoogheden Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, Catherine, Duchesss of Cambridge, en Prince Harry. Deze feestelijke vertoning zal plaatsvinden op maandag 26 oktober in de Royal Albert Hall in Londen.

De CTBF Royal Film Performance is een jaarlijks evenement dat wordt gehouden ter ondersteuning van het Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF), een liefdadigheidsinstelling voor mensen die achter de schermen werken van de Britse film- en televisie-industrie. SPECTRE is de derde Bond-film die is gekozen voor de Royal Film Performance sinds de oprichting in 1946.

De wereldpremière zal natuurlijk ook worden bijgewoond door hoofdrolspelers Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, David Bautista, Monica Bellucci en Ralph Fiennes. Daarnaast zullen regisseur Sam Mendes en producenten Michael G. Wilson en Barbara Broccoli aanwezig zijn. Aan bekende knappe koppen geen tekort.

Het is de eerste keer dat de film tegelijkertijd landelijk in première gaat in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Ierland. In Nederland zal de film vanaf 29 oktober te zien zijn. In de VS draait de film ‘pas’ vanaf 6 november in de bioscoop.
